tiny, tiny club
This was the only time I went to a biscuits show. I was living in Madison, WI at the time. Seriously this club was tiny. Imagine a small restaurant with a 1 foot stage on the side. That is why the chatter sounds so loud.
I was impressed by the music, but also the fans, which were hard core, signing along, and writing down the setlist as they played.
Good times - I'd love to see them again sometime .

Mango Grille in the '99
The Disco Biscuits first real run through the Midwest, after an extensive trip taking them to the West Coast and Colorado. Show highlights were the Bazaar>Acceetobee>Very Moon>Shem Rah a nice Awol's Blues, and a ripping Magellan to end the show. Do they always make mixed drinks that stiff in Madtown? The tapes sound chatty, which says something about the size of the Mango Grille, considering there were maybe thirty people there, tops.
